Vanya uses her photography in combination with paint and drawing both two and three dimensionally as large installation pieces and small maquette size work. Her main areas of interest are space and object, and our relationship to them. Her current ongoing project concentrates on the notion around dwelling and our interaction with our spaces. By using photography in a very direct manner she questions and re-examine the picture plane and the perceived space, the art object itself and our perception of photography as a medium.
