Graham Reid grew up in South Africa, studied architecture at Massachusetts College of Art and completed his undergrad in sculptural glass. After returning to his ancestral roots in Ireland, he designed and built Knockbeg Glass Studios where he taught and blew glass under the name Glóine Eíreann. He now teaches glassblowing at Leitrim Sculpture Centre and has a flameworking and metal studio in Castleore, Sligo. His glass sculptural work is primarily concerned with expressing and manifesting the universal forces that surround us but are often invisible. He also studied Music and Media Technologies at Trinity. His work has been exhibited in various locations from the Douglas Hyde Gallery to the Cairde Festival in Sligo.
