Eamon Baines (born 19 November 1996) is an Irish contemporary artist and musician. In 2020, he completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Contemporary Art at the Centre for Creative Arts and Media, Galway.

Baines is known for his mixed media collages, which incorporate recycled materials such as paper bags and aluminium cans.

He featured in a group exhibition in his third year of art college, titled Coast, at GMIT in April 2019. As well as participating in the curation of this gallery, he also displayed his piece, 1/4/Sorrow (2019), which discussed the issue of male suicide in the city of Galway.

He frequently uses symbols in his work. These images are repeated and relate to his subject matter of men and masculinity. They include, but are not limited to, alcoholic bottles, skulls, male genitalia, cages, and suits.

The hope is to further explore this topic and spread awareness of gender ideologies and the role they play in society.
