Con Brio presents the Academy Chamber Ensemble

Following our very successful concert with the Irish Chamber Orchestra Con Brio now present another stunning event with some of Ireland’s best known musicians.

The Academy Chamber Ensemble will perform on Saturday 17 November 2012, in The Model, The Mall, Sligo at 8.00pm. The musicians of the Royal Irish Academy of Music include Hugh Tinney on piano, Fionnuala Hunt on violin, John Lynch on viola, Christopher Marwood on cello, John Finucane on the clarinet and soprano Lynda Lee.

The programme will be

• Beethoven’s String Trio in D Major Op.9 No.2:
• Schubert’s Der Hirt auf dem Felsen, D965 (Shepherd on the Rock)
• Mozart’s Kegelstatt Trio K.498 (viola/clarinet/piano)

Interval -

• Piazzolla’s Summer from Four Seasons of Buenos Aires for piano trio
• Hahn’s A Chloris and Si mes vers avaient des ailes
• Hamilton Harty’s Sea Wrack
