Open Art Christmas Exhibition - Call for Submissions

Leitrim Sculpture Centre (LSC) invites artists based in the North West to submit work for their Christmas Open. The exhibition will take place in The LSC Gallery from Friday 7^th to Saturday 22^nd December, 10 to 4pm. 

The Exhibition Opening will be at 1pm on Friday 7^th December. All welcome. 

Mulled wine and mince pies will be served.

 

Submission for selection: Work in any medium can be submitted up to a maximum of two works. Works must not exceed 2ftsq. including frame, and details only must first be sent as either: 

1. Email as one .pdf no larger than 20MB to openart@leitrimsculpturecentre.ie
   Or as separate files as .pdf, .doc, .jpeg. 
   
   Or
2. Delivered as photographs or CD

 

Include details for each image exactly as follows (this will be used for the Gallery label):

We will take 25% of this price as commission, and all work must be for sale.

LSC Studio holders may submit up to four works with no fee payable, and we will only take 15% as commission, off the sale price. Works made at LSC will also receive a reduced commission of 15%. Please state on submission if the work was made at LSC. 

Deadline for submissions for selection is Friday 9^th November 5pm (Email submissions should be emailed by midnight Sunday 11th). (Original work must not be delivered to LSC for this selection process). Notification to artists of the selection will be by Wednesday 21^st November. Please do not send payment with the initial submission of images. If you are selected, a submission fee of 5euro per work will be charged as well as 20euro LSC Membership for 2013, unless already a Member. 

Delivery of work by selected artists:

Delivery of works to Gallery from Saturday 24^th to Friday 30^th November (inclusive), 12pm to 4pm. Closed Sunday. Late works will not be accepted.

 

Removal of Work:

Work must be collected between Monday 7^th to Wednesday 9^th January 2013, 10am to 4pm.
