Sligo Bay Lifeboat Call for Artists

SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL Community Art Exhibition 

All artists are invited to support the work of Sligo Bay Lifeboat by submitting pieces under the theme ‘Small is Beautiful’ for the upcoming Sligo Bay Lifeboat Community Art Exhibition. This exhibition will be held in TheWaterfront Gallery, RossesPoint, Sligo from Sunday 2nd December to Monday 16th December 2012.

Criteria for submissions are as follows: Pieces may be in any two dimensional media including photography and written word, with a maximum of two submissions per person being accepted. Maximum outside dimension are 12” by 12”. Works must be ready for hanging and clearly labelled on the back with details of name, address, title and price inclusive of commission.

There is no entry fee but a 25% commission will be receivable to Sligo Bay Lifeboat Station. Insurance is to be covered by the artist. Pieces that do not meet the criteria cannot be accepted. Should space be limited, hanging will be restricted accordingly.

Pieces may be submitted at The Waterfront Gallery on Saturday 24th November between 2pm and 4pm or on Sunday 25th November between 2pm and 4pm.
