Switch: Contemporary Video Art in a Public Context

Switch, an event which will take place from 3-10 February 2013 in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary is now issuing an open call to artists working with film, lens based work and moving image to submit work responding to the theme of ‘movements’.

switch is an event that promotes and shows contemporary works of moving image in a public context.  switch has to date shown the artworks of 31 international artists who have through the project invited the public into their practice, ideas and viewpoints.  switch locates itself outside of the big city and applies itself to the rhythm of smaller places.

The event itself will be accompanied by a publication and a website. An artist fee of Euro 250 [incl. VAT] will be paid per selected artist. To apply log onto http://www.s-w-i-t-c-h.org.
