Branching Out presents “Bram & and Mam Stoker” on Thursday 11th October at 8pm in The Factory Performance Space, Lower Quay Street,Sligo. Tickets are priced €10 & €8. This project is a fundraiser for Branching Out.

Branching Out was founded by young members of County Sligo Youth Theatre (CSYT) in 2009. The group aimed for the young members to create, direct, design and produce their own theatrical productions of a high artistic merit. They also planned to move into other art forms. In 2011 the group received their first funding enabling Branching Out to acquire its own venue. The Nest is located on Custom House Quay,Lower Quay St.just opposite The Fridge, home of CSYT.
The young members of Branching Out are constantly involved in arts projects varying from large scale theatrical productions to window painting in shops in town. The latest large event was hosting the Arts Council of Ireland, Young Ensemble Scheme showcase on the 31st March and also meeting president Michael D. Higgins in Galway September 29th as part of “Being Young & Irish”
Branching Out makes all decisions as a group and are completely youth-led along with being youth-founded, this gives young people freedom of leadership in artistic projects and decision for Branching Out.
