Seisiún Mór Rosses Point

The first Seisiún Mór Rosses Point is almost here, and organisers are delighted with the interest shown in this unique event which takes place next Sunday 11 March. They extend a particularly warm welcome to all musicians, especially those who are travelling to be part of Seisiún Mór. Local musicians and groups have been tuning up all week in preparation. Everyone who comes along, whether to listen or play is guaranteed 12 hours, 11am - 11pm, non stop entertainment!.

As the event is a fundraiser for MS Northwest Therapy Centre, there will be no cover charge into any of the three host venues, Austies, Harry's Bar and The Waterfront. Collectors and sponsorship cards will be available at the venues if you want to support this worthy cause by sponsoring a tune or a set for one euro.

An art exhibition opens in '...with love from Rosses Point' Saturday 10 March. Titled 'Round the House and Mind the Easel' a musical theme binds together the work of nine artists in this group show.
