Since its establishment in 2000, Music in Drumcliffe, formerly The Vogler Spring Festival, has become one of Ireland’s leading international chamber music festivals and is now a major highlight in the national annual calendar of music events. Music in Drumcliffe offers its loyal audience and new visitors alike the opportunity to experience high standards of programming through a fresh choice of artists performing alongside the internationally acclaimed Vogler Quartet, in one of the most beautiful locations in Ireland, at the foot of Benbulben mountain and in the heart of Yeats country.

Sligo Arts Service works closely with Caroline Wynne, Artscope, the Vogler Quartet, the Arts Council of Ireland and key stakeholders locally, regionally and nationally to ensure that Music in Drumcliffe retains its place as one of Ireland’s most distinguished chamber music festivals. The festival is part of Sligo’s strategic investment and focus on music and the development of the cultural and artistic life of the city and county by Sligo County Council. Operating from County Hall, Sligo Arts Service delivers a programme of grants and arts activities funded by Sligo County Council, Sligo Borough Council, the Arts Council of Ireland and key programme partners.
