Sligo Drama Circle Auditions and Theatre Workshops

AUDITIONS

The Sligo Drama Circle is looking for people to audition for two plays to be performed in March. 'The Stronger' by August Strindberg has 3 female parts with acting ages of between 21 and 41. 'A kind of Alaska' by Harold Pinter has two female parts with acting ages of mid forties and one male part with an acting age in the sixties.

Auditions will be held in the Sligo Drama Circle rehearsal space in the Market yard on Friday 20th January between 8pm and 9.30pm. Queries to sligodramacircle@eircom.net or 085 158 0593
 

THEATRE WORKSHOPS FOR ALL AGES

Sligo Drama Circle are running a series of three theatre workshops based around aspects of improvisation; working with a script or scenario devised by the actors. Each workshop is on a different aspect; so if you can't come to one, you are most welcome to others.

9th February - 8pm Sligo Drama Circle rehearsal space, Market Yard.

FREEING THE STORY MAKER - Loosening the imagination.

16th February - 8pm Sligo Drama Circle rehearsal space, Market Yard.

IMPROV INTO CHARACTER - Diving in.

23rd February - 8pm Sligo Drama Circle rehearsal space, Market Yard.
