Official Opening at the 2011 RDS National Crafts Competition Prize-Winners Exhibition in the Yeats Memorial Building, Sligo on Thursday November 3, 2011 at 6pm
Knitted monuments, embroidered banners, workshops, demonstrations and master classes - Craftfest Northwest 2011 is a celebration inspired by contemporary and traditional crafts in Sligo. Viewing or doing, you can be part of it. Craftfest Northwest runs from 3 – 24 November and is a chance for people of all ages to have fun learning or re-learning a craft in a creative way, whether taking part in a workshop activity, viewing an exhibition or just enjoying the quirky street displays of craftwork.
