Music Generation Sligo Recruiting for Music Tutors
Music Generation Sligo was formally established in June 2011 with national funding from Music Generation (The U2 and Ireland Funds supported national music education programme) and local matched funding from Sligo VEC, Sligo County Council and Sligo Education Centre.
Music Generation Sligo is rolling out the Development Plan, with the introduction of Programme 1, Discovering Music from November. The Discovering Music Programme is an introductory music service, which is to be offered to every child and young adult inCountySligobetween November 2011-June 2014.
County Sligo VEC, on behalf of Music Generation Sligo, seeks to recruit and appoint individuals to form a panel of vocal and instrumental tutors to deliver the following programmes:
- Discovering Music Tier 1 – Pre-school age-group plus parents/guardians
- Discovering Music Tier 2 – 4-12 years old
- Discovering Music Tier 3 – 12-18 years old.
