The first stage (online survey) of the public consultation for Sligo’s new arts plan is now complete – thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the survey.

In August further consultations are taking place, as we meet with Sligo’s artists and practitioners and the many cultural venues, arts organisations, festival and event organisers in our county.

Consultations are planned as follows:

Monday 10th August at 7pm (online via Teams): session aimed at the local, voluntary, community and amateur arts organisations and groups.

Tuesday 11th August 10.30am: An in-person session aimed at professional artists and practitioners who both live and work in Sligo.

The arts plan will set out Sligo County Council’s vision, mission and strategic priorities for the arts in Sligo over the next five years.
