May 2025, marks 22 years of Sligo’s Bealtaine Festival. The festival provides opportunities for older people to be more creative, more often and to celebrate how our creative potential doesn’t diminish with age.
Once again, this year’s festival programme boasts a series of exhibitions, free workshops, talks and other events throughout the month of May. Curated by Catherine Fanning, there are opportunities for older people (aged 50+) to once again explore their creative sides, make new connections and share traditions across the generations.
