Blue Raincoat Academy Scholarship 2020

Blue Raincoat Theatre Company will host the 9th annual Blue Raincoat Theatre Academy 11th - 26th January 2020.

The Academy provides multi-disciplinary training for all artists and performers. Workshops will take place at The Factory Performance Space, Lower Quay Street, Sligo.

As part of this year's academy, BRTC are delighted to announce a scholarship which aims to support applicants who would otherwise find meeting the cost of tuition and accommodation fees a barrier to accessing the training on offer at the academy.

One successful applicant will be eligible* to attend all workshops on the programme free of charge and will be offered free accommodation for the duration. 

Candidates wishing to apply for a scholarship should apply on-line to Emails should include a current CV/ Biography and a letter stating your reasons for applying and your interest regarding the scheduled workshops. Please include the title ‘Scholarship 2020’ in the Subject bar when applying. 

*The award is for applicants who wish to attend all workshops. Please ensure when applying that you are available for the scheduled dates.

Closing date for application to the award is 31st October 2019.

Following the deadline, a panel will meet to consider each application and the successful applicant will be announced on the 5th November 2019.
